Please make it stop.

I really need all of your positive messages and encouragement. Every day I read a little bit of something to make me know that life will be ok. I know that there will be very hard times. I know I will not "get over it," but with God's grace I will "get through it." Yesterday morning I got up early and came to my desk. There was an awesome picture of Jay looking right at me. As I sat there for a minute looking at him, the electricity went off in the house. It was only for about 5 seconds and then came back on. I was sure it was just him saying good morning.

Later yesterday as I was running errands, Stacy called me and told me that another very good friend was killed in an equipment accident. Josh was the son of a good friend of mine who died of cancer a few years ago. Please pray for Josh and his family.

Pam...your love for and faith in BOTH God and your beloved Jay WILL get you through it. It will take time, and the pain will be worse at some times more than others. You have what it takes to make it...the love of a strong family base and close friends as well as a lot of 'strangers' who only know you through your blog. Please know that many people are keeping you in their prayers each and every day.

God Bless your friend's family as well. Sometimes bad things happen in bunches, and only God knows the reasons...

Mom, I just want you to know I Love you soo much! We all love you so much!!! On my "myspace" under Hero's has always been MY MOM & DAD. Because you are like the same person. (kinda like that funny card you got for me) > just imagine that just the other day while he was sleeping you sewed your two bodies together and you will always be the same heart and the same soul...Because whatever "souls" are made of you & dad's are the same...And now I forgot how the card went exactly, but something like u loved eachother so much you just wanted to be sewn together to make one lumpy disfunctional body that will always be together. And I believe we will always be together with Dad. I always believed Life was gonna be ok, because dad would take care of us. I believe that
he always will. But only because God is carrying us through this and holding our hand. Because I know were not walking and tho we r all together I know we can't do it on our own. Love u! Gonna come to ur room now n see if u wanna go walkin or something.

Dear Pam,
All I can say is hold on... Just hold on to your God, your babies, your babies babies, your family, your friends.. Just hold on. I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you can share from your haeart. I think this is so much harder than anyone who hasn't been down this path can imagine.. Just hold on, you will be okay, different but okay. I am so incredibly sorry that you have to do this, I am very thankful you aren't alone.
I am ready to come see you, just let me know when.. I could even stay all night and we could sew or something!
See you soon
Love you all,

When Jesus promised that those who mourn would be comforted, he laid down an inescapable prerequisite for receiving the deep, rich wonder of God's healing (Matthew 5:4) Open yourself up to the pain of grieving, it is expected, and allow God to comfort you. Give your self time even in the depths of sorrow, hope breathes. Hope, that because of his healing power, your sorrow will not go on forever.
Please visit my blog, I too just lost a loved one. May all your days be filled with sunshine. RoseMarie

You've shown such grace through all of this. I'm in awe.

Regarding my blog post and your comment: I also have links to both Vintage Indie (which will get you to the vintage indie wedding site) and Eco-Weddings. Both are filled with useful info. Thought you and Mindy might like to check them out!)

Your a strong woman and I admire you. I'm glad I can be part of your family, I'm just sad that it happened the way it did. I hope I'm not being a pest with the cards and phone calls. Please let me know if I am. Jay was a special person and we had our up and downs but I think we were both opioninated and enjoyed giving each other a challenge. I still hope that he will call and ask for Jug and he won't be there and then Jay and I will laugh about how Jug hates to use the phone so don't worry about telling him to call me back! Take care Pam, your a strong woman!
