Farm Chicks Fun

The past week-end was filled with family, friends, food and fun. We went to the Farm Chicks Sale in Spokane Washington. It was so much fun. The fairgrounds were overflowing with everything fun, funky and fabulous. There were seven of us girls that went. We laughed a lot. Ate alot. Shopped alot and had a great time. The rules were that we couldn't come home until the pickup and suburban were full or we spent all that we had brought. And so, we managed to do both. It was my 48th birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It also would have been Jay's 50th birthday. I have spent the last 30 plus years sharing a birthday with the one I love. And this year I missed him with all my heart. I'm sure he was smiling down on me saying "You go girl." But I would have traded everything to have spent it as we have so many times, just the two of us, the kids and a pizza. I love you to the moon and back again Jay and miss you more than you could ever imagine.

Dear sister,

I have been reading your blog for some months now. The words to Aaron Shusts song come to my mind. "I am not skilled to understand, what God has promised, what He's planned. I only know that at His right hand, stands One who is my Savior."

Hold on dear one, God loves you so much and He knows each tear that falls. I wish I could send you a huge hug...you are amazing.

Happy Birthday to you..I'm sure it was a difficult one...I'm glad you got to go to the Fairgrounds with your friends, I had no idea there was such an event here in WA...I'll have to check it out next year..although it's kinda far from where I am. I love the photo and I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
Hugs,
Robin

Oh, Pam, I am so sorry. I will pray for you. I can only imagine what it is like for you. He was your other half, you must miss him dearly. He sounds like he was just a perfect man. I pray that God will comfort you. I'm so glad that you have such a neat group of girlfriends and you were able to get away with them. Are you friends with Stephanie? If so, did you go with her?

Gentle hugs, Sharon
